About 34 GB, downloaded from Hugging Face in Settings → Models. After that, Meshmancer works offline.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, once its models are downloaded. Meshmancer goes online only for these: model downloads you start (a download still running when you quit continues at the next launch); the App Store, which it checks at each launch for your trial and unlock, and when you buy or restore; and Apple's Image Playground, if you choose it on macOS 27.

The model download won't start or keeps failing.

Check your internet connection. If you use a firewall, allow huggingface.co and *.hf.co, then try the download again in Settings → Models.

Is there another way to make the pictures?

On macOS 27, yes, if you want to: choose Apple's Image Playground in Settings → Pictures instead of Meshmancer's own picture model; it needs Apple Intelligence. Image Playground opens in Apple's own window and makes the picture with Apple's Private Cloud Compute, so it needs the internet. The privacy policy says what is sent.

How do I print a model?

In Settings → Printing, choose a print folder. Then, in the Model step, send the model to Bambu Studio as an STL or 3MF file: Meshmancer writes a copy into your print folder and opens it in Bambu Studio on your Mac. Bambu Studio needs to be installed.

How do the trial and the unlock work?

Meshmancer comes with a 14-day free trial, then a one-time unlock through the App Store. There's no subscription.

I already bought it. How do I restore it?

Choose Meshmancer → Licence…, then Restore Purchases, while signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought it with.

Where do my pictures and models go?

They stay in your projects on your Mac. RLSAND never receives your descriptions, pictures, models or files. The privacy policy has the details.
