For RLSAND Inc. and the RLSAND FITNESS app.
RLSAND Inc. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes the limited information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us.
What we collect
RLSAND FITNESS app
Your workouts. Your workouts, exercises, weights, reps, cardio sessions, schedules and history are stored in a database on your iPhone. They are not sent to our servers, and there is no account to create or sign in to. Your iPhone’s own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer) include this data, as they do for most apps; those backups are managed by Apple, not by us.
Apple Health (optional). If you allow it, the app reads workouts, heart rate, active energy, walking/running and cycling distance, and body weight from Apple Health, and writes your completed workouts back to it. Workouts you record in other fitness apps are brought in automatically so they appear in your history. Body weight is used only on your device to estimate the energy of a strength workout. Health data is managed by Apple’s HealthKit, stays on your devices, and is never sent to us or anyone else. The app works fully if you decline.
Apple Watch. The companion watch app receives your workout list (names, planned weights and reps, cardio targets, machine notes) from your iPhone, and sends your completed sets, cardio results and live heart rate back. This travels directly between your own iPhone and watch; nothing goes to our servers. When you run cardio on the watch, it reads heart rate, energy and distance from Apple Health and saves the workout to Apple Health.
Microphone and speech recognition (iOS 27). If you choose to use voice, the app asks for access to your microphone and speech recognition. The microphone is on only after you tap a mic button, and it stops when you pause or after about 20 seconds. Your speech is turned into text by Apple’s speech recognition on your iPhone; if on-device recognition isn’t available, voice doesn’t work rather than sending audio anywhere. RLSAND never records, stores or receives your audio or the words recognized from it. Spoken replies are produced on your iPhone. You can turn microphone access off at any time in Settings.
Ask (Apple Intelligence, iOS 27). When you ask a question about your training, it is answered by Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. When a question needs more than your iPhone can handle, or the on-device model isn’t ready, the app uses Apple’s Private Cloud Compute: your question (at most 500 characters) and the related workout numbers and exercise names are sent to Apple to answer it, and Apple does not keep them. Ask shows which one answered, and you can choose “On iPhone” to keep every question on your device. Your audio is never sent. RLSAND never receives your questions or answers, and we don’t use any third-party AI service.
Siri and Shortcuts (iOS 27). So Siri can answer questions like “What’s my next workout?” and log a set for you, the app keeps a summary of your workouts (names, recent results, schedules) in a file on your iPhone that only the app can read; it is left out of device backups. Siri sees the names of your workouts and exercises so it can recognize them, and handles what you say to it under Apple’s privacy practices. RLSAND does not receive it.
Calendar (optional). If you ask the app to add a workout schedule to your calendar, it asks for calendar access, shows your list of calendars so you can pick one, and creates recurring events for that workout. It doesn’t read your events, and it only changes or removes events it created.
Camera and photos (optional). If you scan a printed workout sheet, the photo you take or choose is read on your iPhone with Apple’s text recognition. It is not uploaded or saved to your photo library.
Purchases. The one-time Full Unlock is bought through Apple’s App Store. We never see your payment details; the app only remembers on your device whether the unlock was purchased.
Analytics (optional). The app sends anonymous product-interaction analytics — which screens and features are used, counts such as how many exercises and sets a workout had, the kind of cardio, and basic app events and error codes — through TelemetryDeck. It never includes the names of your workouts or exercises, your weights, distances or times, your Health data, dates, or anything you say or ask. It uses a random identifier created when you install the app, is not linked to your identity, and is not used to track you across apps or websites. It is on by default; you can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data.
Export and import. Exports (CSV, JSON or PDF) are created on your iPhone and go only where you send them from the share sheet. Files you import are read on your iPhone.
Website & support
If you submit the support form or contact form on this site, we receive the information you provide (name, email, the issue you described, optional device and version metadata). We use this only to respond to your request and may retain it in our support email archive.
Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) are kept for short periods to support security and debugging.
How we use it
- To provide the workout-tracking, voice and question-answering features of the app on your device.
- To understand, in aggregate, which features are used so we can improve the app.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To keep our service running and secure.
How we share it
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own purposes. The only companies that ever handle it are the providers that operate the app and site on our behalf — our anonymous-analytics provider (TelemetryDeck), our email-delivery service (which transmits your form message to us), and our hosting provider — strictly to run the product, and only the minimum required. Questions you ask may be answered by Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, as described above. We do not operate or engage any AI provider. We disclose information only if required by law.
Retention
Your workout data stays on your device until you delete it (or delete the app). Support correspondence: kept while it's useful for ongoing support. Server logs: short-lived. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence at any time. We keep no voice or question logs: your speech is handled on your iPhone, and questions are answered on your iPhone or by Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, and never reach us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. Because your workout and Health data lives on your own device, you control it directly. For anything we hold (support correspondence), reach us through our contact form and we'll respond.
Children
RLSAND FITNESS is intended for adults tracking their own training and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be highlighted at the top.
